Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups wheat flour
- ½ corn flour or cornstarch
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 ½ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder
- 2 tablespoons of jam
- ¼ cup almonds
Procedure:
- We prepare a large Travessa brand aluminum baking tray with baking paper
- In our 850ml Mixing Bowl - MXB-75Q - Winco we add cornstarch, sugar and butter, mix everything well with a Winco brand plastic spatula
- We add the eggs, baking powder, salt and cinnamon
- We pour the mixture into a Professional Mixer 5 Plus - KP25M0XER - KitchenAid with the paddle attachment and add the flour little by little. We work the dough in the mixer until all the ingredients are integrated. It should be a firm and moldable dough.
- We make our dough into a ball and refrigerate it for approximately 1 hour.
- We take our dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into small balls, we give it a cylindrical and regular shape, on the knuckles with the help of a 10cm Professional Straight Peeler Vegetable Knife - Tramontina we make the mark of the knuckles
- We place them on the baking tray
- We place a little strawberry jam on the tip of the finger (simulating blood) and on top of it an almond with the pointed part facing out.
- We bake at 180°C for 15 minutes
